How does this tool calculate?

Revenue is: leads per month × close rate × average customer value. Cost is: leads per month × cost per lead. The margin is revenue minus cost. The ROI is the margin divided by the cost, as a percentage. Without lead cost the tool shows no ROI, because there is nothing to divide by.

The result is a simplified model to compare scenarios. It is your own input, not an industry figure and not a promise about your result.

What does the margin mean in this tool?

The margin is your estimated revenue from closed leads minus the cost of all leads you buy in a month. It is a simplified picture: other costs such as staff, software and overhead are deliberately left out.

How is the ROI calculated?

ROI here is the margin divided by the lead cost, expressed as a percentage. An ROI of 200% means that for every euro of lead cost you keep two euros of margin, according to your own assumptions. Without lead cost, an ROI percentage cannot be calculated.

Which customer value should I enter?

Enter the average revenue that one closed customer brings you. If you work with returning customers, you can choose the value of the first order or the expected customer value over time. Be consistent in what you enter.

Is this a guarantee of my result?

No. The result is a calculation model based on your input, meant to compare scenarios. Actual margins depend on lead quality, follow-up, price and market. Use it as a tool, not as a promise.
