OXIAE / MY EXPERTISE

Software development.

From an initial product idea to business software that supports everyday work.

MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE

Build around the way you work.

When it fits

Your business process requires rules, roles or workflows that your current software does not adequately support. Examples include a customer portal, an operational application or a product idea whose core feature needs testing first.

What I define first

An overview of users, key actions and a defined first version. I identify what existing software can solve, what needs custom development and how you will assess delivery.

Which application do you want to develop?

Start with custom software when you are still choosing between an existing product and your own development. A web application gives users browser access; SaaS addresses a repeatable product with separate customer environments. An MVP limits the first version to a core function and learning objective. These forms can be combined. If the application needs to exchange data, include the API integration in its scope.

How should software support everyday work and collaboration?

Business software brings internal information, roles and activities together. Workflow software focuses on tasks, statuses and approvals. A customer portal gives customers access to their own enquiries and information; a dashboard helps colleagues move from an overview to the relevant details. If the process is unclear, start by defining business processes. Scattered sources may first require data integration.

How do you improve software already in use?

Modernisation starts with the existing code, data and dependencies. Establish what can stay, what needs changing or replacing and how everyday work continues during the transition. A software audit can investigate specific risks and limitations. An API integration can connect existing and new components; a complete rebuild is not the automatic starting point.

FROM QUESTION TO DECISION

A practical first step.

Define users and scope

Describe the main user journey and business rules, including what falls outside the first version.

Design and build iteratively

Make behaviour visible in small steps and ask involved users to assess whether it works for them.

Test, deliver and hand over

Check roles, exceptions and recovery; document how the software will be operated and handed over.
